KT News 04-09-2024/: Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed extended his gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping during a meeting today, highlighting the strong ties between Ethiopia and China.
"Thank you, President Xi Jinping, for the warm welcome and our valuable discussions today," said Prime Minister Abiy.
He emphasized Ethiopia's appreciation for China's ongoing and diverse support, noting the significant progress Ethiopia has made across various sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, industry, tourism, and telecommunications, despite facing numerous challenges.
Chinese investments have been instrumental in this advancement, Ahmed stated, underscoring the potential for further collaboration in sectors such as tourism and the paper and pulp industry.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Ethiopia's commitment to strengthening its partnership with China in the future.
