During the forum, the embassy emphasized the Ethiopian government's strategic efforts to position the country as a premier global tourism destination.
Ambassador Bizunesh Meseret, Chargée d’Affaires of the Embassy, attended the event as a Guest of Honour and delivered a presentation on the role of Ethiopia’s creative industries in bolstering tourism. She underscored tourism as a priority investment sector for the nation, highlighting various initiatives aimed at enhancing Ethiopia's appeal on the global stage.
In her address, Ambassador Bizunesh also encouraged Indian tour operators to incorporate Ethiopia’s diverse tourism attractions into their travel packages and invited them to experience the country firsthand.
Additionally, the embassy showcased Ethiopia’s unique cultural and natural attractions, culminating in a traditional coffee ceremony that offered attendees a taste of Ethiopian heritage.
