KT News 03-09-2024/: The inaugural African Cities Forum will be hosted in Addis Ababa starting tomorrow, under the theme "Sustainable Urban Development for Africa's Transformation Agenda 2063."
Mayor Adanech Abebe expressed her delight, stating, "We are thrilled that the first African Cities Forum will coincide with the commemoration of the Adwa Victory."
In a post on her social media, Mayor Adanech highlighted the significance of this forum as a vital platform for engaging with fellow Africans on strategies to modernize our cities, transforming them into vibrant hubs of change and prosperity.
She emphasized the importance of collaboration and collective effort in achieving these goals.The mayor also noted that extensive preparations have been made to ensure the success of the forum.
She underscored the significance of this opportunity for the city's residents, encouraging everyone to work diligently to establish Addis Ababa as a premier destination for forums, conventions, and similar events.
